Amber has been on a beautiful journey of healing after many years of self hate following her abortion experience. During this Easter season, may we remember that Jesus has the power to break any chain that binds us. He wants to set the captives free!
“Behind the Mask” and “Discarding the Mask”
I wiped away tears throughout Amber’s entire session. So many parts of her story touched my heart. As I read her words that I would write across her face, I was overcome by great emotion. How many of us only dwell on the negative in our lives and speak those self-condemning words over and over again? Thankfully, she has found forgiveness and a new life in Jesus. No more self hate! She has been set free and her mask has been cast away!
