Their Stories
Follow AND SHARECheryl
Cheryl asked me if I could make her into a zombie…and I was rather speechless. She explained to me that after her abortion she described herself as the living dead – a very good way to portray the emptiness inside of her.
Karen
Karen’s story is all too common for so many post-abortive women: a parent and/or boyfriend forces the woman to choose between them and the baby. In the end, the woman is left broken and empty.
Serena
Serena’s heart-rending story is quite interesting because although her baby was conceived in rape and she was forced to have an abortion, she still grieved the loss of her baby for many years.
Mara
After her baby was conceived in rape, Mara felt the only answer was to abort her baby. In time, she came to realize that her baby’s life was still valuable and she wished she had given him the chance to live.
Stacey
Stacey couldn’t get the scene out of her head from the movie, “Unplanned” when they had to put the pieces of the aborted baby’s body back together, like a puzzle. She felt like a broken puzzle herself…
Jenna
If you saw my post about my trip to California, that little walnut was the reason for it. Jenna keeps it to remind her of her baby. God spoke to me in so many ways about our session—and also about sweet Jenna.
Paula
Why would I photograph a woman who has never had an abortion? Because she wrote to me and told me her incredible story of how she (and her four children and eleven grandchildren) survived the abortionist’s tool.
Meg
This is truly heart-rending. Thankfully, Meg’s story doesn’t end here. She has found great peace for her tormented soul and now God uses her to help others find that same peace.
Mike & Lisa
When Lisa contacted me, saying her husband would be doing the session with her, I was so excited! (I pray this is the beginning of many men who will be part of the After the Abortion photography series!)
